Well, he has done a lot. Stand up comdey, writer, he was on Saturday Night Live and had his own HBO show. Dennis is a pretty deep thinking person. Well read, well educated and a convert to the right. Like a ninja he suddenly appeared recently and started saying what he is thinking. Dang'it if it isn't pretty conservative.

Dennis should be the guy that rants back against Clinton on 60 minutes. Not Dole.

Fox has a winner here with Miller.

He's very talented and funny, and I'm glad he's come over to the conservative side, but his anti-Catholic rants are unfair to the vast majority of the Catholic Church.

He's by no means a conservative... Still very liberal on a lot of issues. As you mentioned, he's got a lot of hostility towards organized religions, and he's a huge supporter of gun control, and wonders aloud why we have to follow the rules written on a 230 year old piece of paper.

I think Miller's conversion is way beyond your definition of "however temporary".
