The moral equivalence that you're placing on both sides is appalling in that it's no different than those who condemn both the arsonist and the fire fighter.
The palis fight not to gain freedom and statehood, which have been repeatedly offered to them, but to attempt to annihilate the Jews. In other words, they do not *have* to fight for survival -- and that's why your analogy is fatally flawed.
Another major flaw is that your examples, for the most part, don't explicitly target civilians, as the palis do. If you can't see the difference between ambushing soldiers and blowing up buses full of schoolkids and grandparents, then that's really quite sad.
But it's very big of you to not condone acts of terror.
