My great grandfather used to be the head herdsman on the Weidner(now Dixon Farm). We travel there from Wisconsin each year to buy champion breeding stock. I grew up in Chestnut Hill until my late twenties.
I miss the Chestnut Hill Stone and architecture, but that's about it! I'm really saddened by what's become of Plymouth Meeting, Montgomeryville, Flourtown, Militia Hill, Valley Forge, etc.....Talk about a sprawling mess of arss to elbow housing and traffic jams!
