In addition, although a best-seller, Treason is not on sale. Barnes & Noble has apparently broken their own policy by asking the cover price -- this is the first time EVER that I can recall Barnes & Noble asking the cover price for a new best-seller<PThat's just business. If the book is in great demand you make more money by charging the higher price. If the book is not so easy to sell you discount the price to get people to buy it.

"That's just business. If the book is in great demand you make more money by charging the higher price. If the book is not so easy to sell you discount the price to get people to buy it." Then why is the new Harry Potter book 30% off (or more) at Target, Sams, Wal-Mart, Barnes & Noble, Waldenbooks, Media Play, Best Buy, Costco, etc.? Isn't there a great demand for the new Harry Potter book?
