Then again, I also know some gays who believe that attitude is absurd. The core issue is that too many people believe they have the right to do anything. And that simply isn't true.

Maybe my disagreement is with your wording. Many people, straight and gay, may get titilated by the idea of public sex, but do they consider it a right? Absolutely not.
