I did read the post since it was directed to me
Firstly the gov't can't regulate Morality
It can and should however regulate criminal acts
This issue is not just a gay issue,
as I was trying to point out.
gay or straight does not concern me
telling people what they can or can not do in their own homes
is regulating Morality
criminal acts, i.e. involving minors, rape, murder, and others, are crimes. (period)

How to even reply to this?

You certainly must see that bringing up some nebulous "criminal acts" vs. "moral acts" is ridiculous right? If everyone in this world understood that "these are just criminal acts"(stomping like a two year old) then why is murder acceptable in many many places? Could it be because their "moral code" does not prohibit them from taking a life? ahh--hah so the criminal acts of a nation just might be based on moral codes or lack of them? And if people are willing to take the risk of being murdered in this country so that they can murder something else and reject the moral code that prohibits murder, do you not think someday that we may overturn that too based on personal liberty? This is a ridiculous argument all around. Some folks here are so foolish to not think that they are eroding at that which sets us apart from the rest of the world and it will be to their detriment too someday. I only wish the handful of us who see reality had more to stop up the dam then our fingers.

How do we define what is a criminal act except by our moral perception of it? We define murder as criminal because of our moral perception of a right to life. We define stealing as criminal because of our moral perception of a right to property. Etc.
