The only thing I do not like about this forum's format is the inability to correct spelling errors. Especially since I am apparently too lazy to spellcheck ;-)

Unfortunately, if you could correct spelling errors, you could also change the content of your post. Taken to the extreme, that capability could result in absolute chaos (as opposed to the current relative chaos).

In forums where you can change your posts, poeple can go back and change more than the spelling, baiting people into attacking them and then changing their posts to look innocent. I've seen it happen. It isn't pretty. I'd rather live with the typos.
