While this letter is flattering to the US; I note that its origin is in Texas, not Iran. It is clear that ex-patriate Iranians have clued into the hypocrisy and responsibility of the UN, EU (including the castigation of Blair and Britain), the despots of the Arab world including Gadhaffi, the late Assad, and Arafat (condemning the terrorist groups supported by the Mullahs such as Hizbollah and rejecting the support given to the Palestinians and their cause) and villify American journalists and academics who have portrayed the Mullahs in a sympathetic light.

I am curious as to whether these details are fully supported by the students in Iran.

I wonder if this letter is also an enducement to known conservatives in the US, as it plays to our causes (as much as to Iranian indictments of the Mullahs), with a view to significantly increase the visibility of their cause. Nothing wrong with that and I commend the expatriate Iranians for identifying their true allies in the American political landscape.

Just a comment; nothing in this letter rings false as far as the charges and identification of the collborating entities.

I hope that the soon-to-be-free Iranians DO renounce the policies of support for terrorist groups throughout the Middle East, cease their production of WMD and their alliances with those parties which have assisted in this, and focus on rebuilding Iran.
