That is what democracy and citizenship is all about.

They are accountable, reprs every 2 years, pres every 4 years and senators every 6 years. These same accountable folks gave Bush the green light. If a group of duly elected reps decided something using our from of gov't then you must have an issue with our form of gov't. I can only assume a dictatorship with you and Buck at the helm would meet your expectations as to how the US should act.

To two party system as it is now gives us a choice between lying crook #1 and lying crook #2. Term limits and a third party might help reduce the iron grip of the ruling class elite has on the political system, but I don't see that happening until we reach a crisis stage.
