The liberal elite in KS is on a mission to destroy Phil Kline. Last year, Kline narrowly beat RAT Chris Biggs for the KS Attorney General. In retaliation, the trial lawyer allies of Chris Biggs formed a watchdog group called HAWK (Hundreds of Attorneys Watching Kline) as a way of monitoring the "extreme right-wing" activities of Kline. HAWK must be hard at work these days. The articles on this thread sound like HAWK press releases.

That's right. And they nailed him pretty good for hiring his nephew as a personal driver. But of course they distorted many of the facts. Now, I can say that I'm curious why he hired (or allowed to be hired) his nephew when he knew that were just looking for dirt, real or imagined. But, this griping about his nephew having a DUI in his past is very hypocritical. All of the state media gave Bill Clinton a pass -- even on credible rape allegations. Even more similarly, here in the KC metro area, a MO legislator is actually taking off time to enter treatment for alcoholism. The KCStar thought she was so brave and honest and worthy of keeping her job. hmmm...Kline's nephew is a kid who made some big mistakes and doesn't deserve a break or a job (how unforgiving). Yet a democrat representative can be a stumbling drunk and still be worthy of her elected position.
