Don't take this the wrong way; I sure as heck know I'm not walking in your shoes...
And that s fine, but you may one day.
but do you have any idea how unappealing that makes you sound?
Well that was the whole point, wasnt it? I have no interest in being appealing to my ex. All I care about is my WONDERFUL kids.
As I said to my kids at a family meeting recently, Your mother and I made better parents than spouses, and if I was forced to choose between the two, I would have favored the former. Well I actually didnt word it that way but you get the idea.
Couldn't you just bring her back to reality without the bad grammar, vulgar words, and spiteful sentiment?
On her part or mine? Talk about vulgar words, she uses the f word in front of my kids now!!! You can never know this will eventually happen, whether you date her or court her.
Maybe you like making her mad, and its worth it even if she lobs a frying pan at your head.
I dont make her mad. She makes herself mad. The easiest way to make a woman mad is to point out realality and the obvious.
But maybe you could just say, Hon, the marriage is over, for good. I don't want to look at you, I don't love you anymore. And she'll stop asking you.
Well after you try that a half dozen times, it becomes futile.
