Man, that rings a bell !! Back in the early 70's i was playing in the dirt with a 250XL honda & an elsinore(SP?) and that bultaco name sure sounds like it came from that era.

Am I close? Or has old age set in?

That 250 I had was a mean four-stroke single cyl dirt bike, kicked some mean butt and always got lots of air time blasting off out of a mud hole! Ran side by side with the 400's.

If I sat on it now, It would just grunt! :-)

Your close, (and old age probably has also set in - at least it has with me). I think I had the Bultaco around 1971-73. Fun beast, but I'd be scared of it now.

Matter of fact, at 67, I got scared of all of them - just sold my last BMW late last year. Still, on a nice summer day, I wish I had a bike in the garage to strap a tent and sleeping bag onto and take off for 4 or 5 days!
