The investigators said that help given to the Texas Department of Public Safety had "no reducible effect" on the center's mission.

"This is a nominal use of (Department of Homeland Security) resources," the investigators said.


So they investigated themselves and said since it didn't take to many resources or interfer with other duties, it's a legitimate use of HS powers. Nice precedent to set.

This was not the reason this outfit was created for, heads should roll for this abuse.
