The State is correct.

Parents can homeschool but the State has a compelling interest to know that these kids are not being subjected to what would amount to child abuse resulting in an uneducated person who may end up on the State dole at best, a sociopath or psychopath at worst.

All the government wants is to know they are really being educated.

From the parents' behavior, I believe the State has good cause for concern.

They don't seem to care about that at the government schools. Talk about hypocrisy. For every flaky home schooler, there are thousands upon thousands of braindead victims of educrats.

If the govrenment was so interested in a child's education it would completely re-vamp the public school system, which is a disgrace.

So if parents don't send their children to public schools and don't want them to take state tests, that is good cause to worry that they might be producing a psychopathic child?

Have these children exhibited psychopathic behavior? Is there any reason to believe that they may be a danger to others? If not, why is it the state's business what they do?
