The usual Lie of the Left. It most certainly is not true over most of the course of Christian civilization. However, there have been previous eras of Christian civilization when gross sexual immorality was practiced in some countries. But such a situation doesn't last long. Sooner or later, the general depravity of the population will drag the nation down. Europe is a good example of what will happen to us, actually, what has already happened to us. The consequences just haven't yet fully manifested. But they will. They always have.
