I didn't see anyone here advocate the "targeting" of children. Then I suggest you look again.

Now you get it! Welcome aboard. Thanks, but I'll give up my seat for one of the young Skinheads or Klansmen.

"Hamas has a lot of tentacles. I wonder what will become of Hamas members in other countries?" And the Israeli Army has a lot of testicles. I'm betting on them.
Yes, I agree, but the IDF can't send Apache gunships into Damascus, or Paris, or Montreal, for example. The Israelis seem to have remarkably good intelligence on the "Who's Who of Hamas" in Gaza, and can attempt to kill this cancerous organization from the head on down. And they've gotten so good at it that if you're a Hamas guy, it's not even safe to go out for a drive.
But still... "wiping out" Hamas will involve a lot more than selective termination of the top guys. Hamas is controlled and financed by Syria. It has recruiters and money men and supporters all over the world.
The IDF can't do it all, and if the Israelis are really serious about this, the Mossad's going to be pretty busy with black ops to get the Hamas agents abroad. This will be a big job. I would expect the CIA will lend a hand as well.
Perhaps in the near future we will see some of these Palestinian "Activists" turn up mysteriously missing in places like Toronto or Berkely...

If Islam is a religion of peace, why are Muslims attacking non Muslims in Indonesia, Philippines, Sudan, Kashmir, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran ........ Many of those fights do not involve US or Israel vs Muslim in nature. They do not tolerate other beliefs, and as long as the Koran says there are certain circumstances force can be used to convert infidels, Muslims will never be a religion of peace. Many Americans still do not get it. The Islamic World (especially the Arab world) is at war with the US. They despise our way of life and bring up their young men to prepare if called upon by their leaders to attack and destroy us. You are still hindering our full might to win by applying Queensbury rules of warfare against an enemy who will not follow such rules. If you want to commit national suicide, that is your business, but do not drag me over the cliff with you.

You are right. Israel did want to stop and offered major concessions to the PA. I stand corrected.

When the PA H-bomber boards a bus during the early morning hours when Israeli kids used it to go to school several months ago and blew it up, they essentially were sending a message to Israel that they will kill their kids. The IDF has the right to respond in kind against terrorist targets. When a society, nation or people who supports a movement that uses ruthless tactics against a more powerful adversary and assume the adversary does not have the guts to be equally brutal are making a risky assumption. The Palestinian people are reaping what they sow. Kill Israeli civilians, the PA places their civilians at risk. I recommend watching the movie "Michael Collins" which is about the founder of the IRA in the early 1900's. He used assassination and irregular warfare against the British. The war reached a stalemate and the British and IRA were negotiating Irish independence. The IRA radicals were not happy with the partial independence of Ireland and wanted to escalate the level of brutality. Collins basically said, "are you prepared to jump into the abyss". He understood the consequences and saved most of the Irish from suffering in a brutal protracted war by accepting partial independence of the Ireland. The Palestinian people and their PA leaders do not seem to understand that and have jumped into the abyss.
