Great thread dansangel, lovely presentation :-) I too love lighthouses, something mysterious about them. Spent a week out in Montauk on vacation one year, very pretty.

Spent a week out in Montauk on vacation one year, very pretty.

It *looks* gorgeous! Like I said, so many lighthouses, so little time! I'm so glad that folks have taken an interest in preserving them.

In some of the documentaries I've seen it has actually made me cry to see the ones that have been neglected. Almost like the old bones of a departed elephant.
