When I Freeped VP Gore at the Raleigh airport, I stayed parallel with him as he worked his way up and down the rope line (shaking hands), and I kept shouting at him "Have you asked the President whether he raped Juanita Broaddrick? If you can't ask him, who can?" He never responded, of course.

The thing that got me is Estrich switching positions. I mean, look at what she has said all week-end. ie: Clintons taking up all the time, etc.

And Juanita's reaction was, I think, very typical of an earlier time, when rape victims were often thought to have "asked for it" and been at least somewhat responsible for the situation. Times were different, even as recently as the '70s, and I find Juanita's reaction very believable for the time frame and circumstances.

Or, was it a set-piece all along? Susan knows that this segment is coming up so, in order to appear credible, criticizes the Clintons publicly so that she can say that she has been critical of them, but on this issue, she supports them, thereby appearing to not look partisan.

I don't know if ya'll heard this, or not; since Hannity was talking over her at the time but, Clift actually said that Clinton has never shown a pattern of this type of behavior in his life. She's obviously insane.

Her criticism was fairly tame--that she needn't pose as the wife of a cad to become popular. What's that? How about her career of lies, her acceptance of bribes couched as brilliant commodities trades, her abuses of power (Travelgate, Filegate), her obstruction of justice (the Foster affair, the ransacking of his office ahead of the posse, the missing/reappearing billings) and her complicity in the 11th hour pardons of some of the worst kinds of people?

Estrich and Clift are soulless shills and enablers.

Eleanor Clift is living in a dream world. Most of the Country hates Hillary. But, as a tpyical liberal, she would even deny that. Have you ever seen Eleanor look amused?
