Call PETA, and threaten to sue!
Seriously though,I come from a long line of deer hunters.I do not hunt myself, because I do not enjoy it, but I volunteer to be the recipient of venison for any hunters who have too much to fit in a freezer.
I just ask that I can track the hang time prior to butchering.(I like 5 days myself)
It is kind of funny to those of us with a warped sence of humor to hear all the cries of save Bambi, while the same voices cry to kill the vicious bears and cougars who normally feed on Bambi.
Such a hard concept to get through to the restaurant and "frozen food prepared meal" people that meat comes from actual formerly living animals.Someone, somewhere, put that egg, steak, bacon or chicken on your grocery store shelf. It involved killing an animal.Humans are omniverous. We are designed to digest just about everything that grows on the face of the earth.
I may not enjoy shooting a rabbit or squirrel or a deer, but I do know how to cook them to feed myself and my family. And,if God forbid, society collapses,I can feed me and mine by hunting and processing my own meat.
Pardon me while I LMAOAROTF when confronted by people who think humans are not a part of mother natures natural food chain!

You are so right. Some people try to deny it, but mankind is a predator species. It's not right or wrong, it just is. It is what we are, and hunting is (among many things) a spiritual connection to our most basic legacy as human beings. It is a link to our own history and taps into genetic memory that transcends not just generations, but epochs.

No, I'm not Ted Nugent. I just talk like that. :-)
