BTW, Many signers keep telling there's a lot of talk about the fake petitions on the radio in Kern County. Apparently the fake one is 8 1/2 by 14 inches/legal size (anyone know about this?), while the real one is 8 1/2 by 11. It's true, the content and format of recall petitions are that tightly regulated. They must be on 8 1/2 x 11 paper. All the signers on a particular sheet must be from the same county, etc.

We don't have recall in Mass but we do have the initive petition. When collecting signatures we try for one signature per form, City and Town officals have been known to invalidate an entire form for one bad signature.
