Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle has received a letter from the bishop of his home diocese of Sioux Falls, S.D., informing him that he can no longer publicly identify himself as a member of the Catholic Church.
If the Bishop demands that a man stop publically calling himself Cathoic, then it would take a man of sinkspurian ignorance to think he was still in communication with the Church. Take up the case for the babykiller's good standing all you want, sinkspur. But good luck fooling God--or any real Catholic for that matter.

I'm familiar with that letter. Nowhere in it does the bishop say that Daschle is forbidden from receiving the sacraments of the Catholic Church.
If he can receive the sacraments, he's not excommunicated.
The bishop simply asks that Daschle not publicly associate himself with the Church.
Why are you so pissed all the time, Thorondir?
