Decrying truth and justice as "Showboating" will not save anyone from the truth, sinkspur. It only serves to perpetuate the evil in a comfortable, new order way.

You're wound way too tight, my friend.

What should scare them is the justice that is both inescapable and everlasting--the justice brought on by lack of justice here on earth.

Lots of Catholics, especially those around Boston, would point to bishops who transferred abusive priests and ask "Where is the justice for them"?

I suspect the reason the Catholic bishops are laying low is that they have every reason to, given their mafia-like behavior in regards to clerical predators.

Three artful dodges in one post. Wow! Making progress (but not truth, as usual) I see. I'll keep praying for truth and justice. You keep on praying for... well whatever new order thing it is you pray for... or to... or at... or with... or about.

We don't have to choose. We can do them all. Excommunicate Ted the Driver Kennedy, Ketchup Boy Kerry, each and every pseudo-Catholic, babykilling Massachusetts Congresscritter (let the Taxachusetts political boyos know that, in the absence of pro-life action on funding of abortions, the state legislative frauds are next, say one year from now). Meanwhile, line up every miscreant priest and bishop and cardinal and excommunicate the lot of them. Resurrect medieval ritual as possible. I think there is a good rendition of the excommunication ritual in the movie Becket with Richard Burton. Make videotapes and raise funds for a foundation to fund archdiocesan functions.

Meanwhile, VOTF and CTA and their ilk should be next in the excommunication crosshairs, starting with the anti-Catholic bigot and ex-priest James Carroll of the Boston Globe and VOTF. Regrettably, burning at the stake is no longer an available remedy, but a fiery display of the aforementioned excommunicandi would certainly be a bracing kickoff to a long overdue "reform" of AmChurch. Bob Dornan has a list of burnworthy Congresscritters posing as Catholics and, if the other bishops would like to earn a reputation for justice, they can do their part. Of course, many of those bishops would make a lovely light as well.

Also, you give the AmChurch bishops far too much credit by comparing them to the Mafia. The Mafia is both competent and just which are not qualities noted in most of our bishops in degenerate AmChurch.

Perhaps the better comparison is to Quisling of Norway whose name has become a metaphor for knuckling under and surrendering and cooperating with the enemy. Sounds a lot like Bernardin (even if he has to be exhumed to be burned; better late than never) and Mahoney, and Keeler and Law and Pilla and Pilarczyk and O'Brien, and Murphy and their ilk. Oh, there I go again, making another list! Are there enough forests to provide enough aged wood to.........?

Old Man Fire, dat Old Man Fire................

Massachusetts can be a demonstration project. If the purges reduce the Faithful to a few thousand, so be it because that is only a recognition of the pre-existing reality. Then, as a missionary territory, Massachusetts can be honestly and genuinely evangelized by the diamond hard remnant. There are plenty of Unitarian-Universalist "churches" of the swinging single and the liturgical snake dance to accommodate the surviving purgees.
