Politicans typically lie and/or dissemble. Once upon a time, freepers would have understood this. Why should Dubya be any different?You think BUSH was lying? Have you been paying attention? Those WMD questions WILL be answered and I SINCERELY DOUBT it will end with the conclusion that "it was all a lie". That's ridiculous, I hope the DEMONRATS hang their hats on this one, they'll be SORRY in the end.

I suspect he disembled e.g. trumped up dubious or outdated evidence (and engaged in much wishful thinking) once it was discovered that scaring with spectres of mushroom clouds over American cities was a more effective means to persuade people than actually emphasizing the most important reason for war: creating a counterweight to Saudi Arabia.
Dubya is, after all, the same guy who said he was for smaller government...yet the domestic side of government has grown very fast under his watch. Face it, he is not a god, he is a politician.
