Yeah...Lee even said that the newspaper would have disintigrated, leaving the tape. I thought even to entertain such a speculation was irresponsible coming from this "expert". Such a senario would not begin to explain the better condition of Connor's little body because newspaper wouldn't begin to protect it from the water for 4 months.

The better condition of Connor's remains has to do with the lack of toxins in his blood. Newborn/Preborn children are "steril" and this greatly slows decomposition. A plastic bag wouldn't make a whole lot of difference.
