This is a true cat story--

I have a friend whose husband is a real sucker for their cat, Miss Julep, who rules their roost.

One day he bought his wife a new Waterford vase and put it on the dining table with roses, as a surprise. She made a big fuss over the "sus" and her husband.

That evening they found the vase and roses on the edge of the table. Later, the vase and roses were again on the edge about to fall off the table.

He said, "I think Julep is jealous because she didn't get roses." He bought another Waterford vase, put a rose in it, and put it by the cat's food bowl.

They never had another problem with the one on the dining table being moved.
