You are not anti-abortion?...I'm suprised frankly. What have you been trying to reason with me? I merely assumed that you are fairly feminist quasi conservative lady and I'm a very non feminized hardcore right wing cro mag conservative who had tried to be amicable about it all.

I cannot possibly imagine how you have concluded I am "not anti-abortion", or a "feminist quasi conservative". I really cannot.

I just know that people's hearts and minds are often changed on this topic - usually not overnight, but over years - but rarely from bludgeoning by those on the pro-life side.

For example, I read the beating a woman (you posted to her, so I think you will know the thread I mean - your post was relatively kind, especially compared to the majority of them) took on another other thread last night. An on-the-fence observer might have concluded that the goal of the pro-life movement is to make a woman who has had an abortion hate herself.

That's not MY goal, and I don't want to be associated with it.

People here went so far as to suggest she prays to Satan (she's Jewish). It made me sick to watch.

Nobody is going to win anyone over by behaving that way.

You got me on the beating a woman thing. I have posted pretty heavy here lately and it's getting muddled.

I know I would never have condoned beating a woman unless she was trying to kill a man....or maybe if in a state of shock if he caught her cheating....that would not be condoning...just somewhat understanding the rage.
