You don't have to kill your fellow Americans because they don't agree with your moral issues. When you do illegal things in your fight against them, you are no better than any other terrorist.
What would have been the right thing to do if you were a citizen of Germany when your government was murdering Jews?
To: southernnorthcarolina
Your geocentricism is fully understandable; the WP looks "down" at anything south of the Potomac, and has writers with loose tongues and weak minds -- this is a national case that likely will be played off-stage given the early reviews and they didn't want to waste their ink in today's poor economy. Check Monday's front page to see how big of a deal this will be nationwide.
If NARAL holds a press conference, then it will be a big story.

Pssst. Hey Kevin. Eric Rudolph was a known doper. Doesn't that just beat all?

And yet you justify someone like Rudolph who is just as guilty as they are...Oh for pete's sake, get a freepin grip. He didn't "justify" Rudolph. In fact, his exact words were, "I have no sympathy for Rudolph; I believe he committed cold-blooded murder."

I tried to point that out and the fact that the first reports even off Fox News were biased and I was told I was totally off track. Thank you for even more examples of the bias we face

"Doesn't this bother you at all? "
Of course it bothers me. But I'm not going to stoop to their level to kill whoever might be standing around the clinic doing it. If you think he was doing the right thing then do you also agree with the homocide bombers who think they are working to help their cause? The right way is to work on getting the laws passed and educate people on what they are really doing when they get an abortion. Otherwise, you just make your cause look like a terrorist organization.

I'd like to see the facts on this before I jump to conclusions. I remember Richard Jewell.
IF he's guilty nail him.

Since you have all the answers, answer this question?
What would have been the right thing to do if you were a citizen of Germany when your government was murdering Jews?
To: honeygrl
If you think he was doing the right thing then do you also agree with the homocide bombers who think they are working to help their cause? I assume you understand that this argument rests on an equivalence between the abortion industry and all of western (or Judeo-Christian) civilization.

"What would have been the right thing to do if you were a citizen of Germany when your government was murdering Jews? "
In all honestly I don't know enough about the history of that to reply. But the problem did get solved by military personnel, correct? The fact is, the people were not doing anything illegal at the clinic. Until it's illegal, no one has the right to give them the death penalty. Even then, they'll have to have a fair trial to be convicted. Or do you not believe in trials before convicting someone to the death penalty?
To: WhiteGuy
Do you really think "due process" will matter in this "case"?Maybe nobody did it.
To: Delphinium
I can't condemn this guy for having the courage the rest of us don't have. You should have to spend a year helping the people who were maimed by this nut's violence.
You should have to help them go to the bathroom, feed them, bathe them, nurse them and hold them when they despair.
Your excusal of his terrorism is ghastly and inhuman. You truly have no moral leg to stand on.

The American military went to Germany to stop the LEGAL activity of killing Jews. It took several years before America got involved while German citizens including Christians stood by, and watched.
Was America wrong to try and stop a legal activity?

Your excusal for the murder of millions of babies is ghastly and inhuman.

He seems to be engendering quite a bit of sympathy and support from a few freepers. They are being subtle, though. He's being "framed" now. I'm guessing that the assumption is that abortionists blew up their own clinic.
To: honeygrl
And I hope they make those shackles as tight as they possibly can and uncomfortable as possible. He's going to be under extremely tight security from this point on, DC snipers Muhammed & Malvo tight.
From what I've been able to gather, he'll be going to Asheville NC on Monday, he'll get lawyered up and then transferred to one of the jurisdictions (Georgia or Alabama). And from what I've been hearing from the news programs, Rudolph is talking, but about what--who knows.

I'm sorry...but I don't recall addressing you directly on this thread. You're posting on a public forum; we can all comment on anything you say.
I understand you have negative "feelings" toward me after I highlighted your anti-2nd Amendment views on another thread.
And I'll say it again: you're a liar. I never said any such thing. I proved it to you, and yet you continue with you specious posts.
Typical for you.

Your excusal for the murder of millions of babies is ghastly and inhuman Ummm, show me where I did any such thing in my post. Now. Otherwise keep your pro-terrorist ugliness in check.

You're being too relativistic honey.
Some things just don't fit that rationalization as well as others.
