My other point is, if Racicot really cared about the attack of the homosexual left on the religious right then he would have argued our point when meeting with them. He would have said, "You need to understand that many in the GOP feel that your organizations are violating their rights to raise their children as they see fit, etc..." But nothing. He ONLY took on their rhetoric. He had no trouble confronting the Christian conservatives he met with. Why us and not them if you are trying to sell us on the concept that he is neutral (and I do not think we should be neutral on morality -- if the only thing the gov't did was take care of national defense then we could narrow that morality focus down, but they put themselves in the business of raising children and the like then morality is a big, important issue).
