That was a pathetic statement over a style of jeans. Hope you are happy in your polyester stretch pants and polka-dot briefs. Get over it.

hahaha...yep, well I don't have any pictures but I'm glad some of us have a sense of humor and common sense about this :-)

Your mileage may vary...

Anyway, they are not for everybody. If a person is overweight, they shouldn't wear them. Oh, and you're a BIGOT, too! What a surprise.

I agree completely. Self-respect isn't important. Walking around turning people on and disrespecting men isn't important (why, men should just get used to it)! There's nothing wrong with any sense of fashion, because...there are no standards by which to evaluate fashion. And that's true because, of course, there's no standards by which to evaluate anything! And we all know that provocative dress never ever gives rise to provocative thoughts! Why, the immaturity of adults never trickles down to the immaturity of teens, and we all know that what we can do anything we want without worrying about setting an example.
Just because this behavior didn't cause the world to end doesn't mean it has no negative effects. It's just more defining taste down, as we have defined morality down, and defined deviancy down. Mozart or Enimem. Just because the world hasn't ended, indeed.

Im so all over this..except when it involves overweight women with fat rolls handing out over their lowrider pants. And I see a lot of that here in Southern Illinois.

I only know guys and girls that age that are homeschooled. They are all models of decency and virtue. There is nothing in the manual that states that children have to behave that way, or dress that way.

No, my daughters dont wear thongs. They dont dress like school teachers but there is no tummy, butt, or cleavage showing. Period. They think its gross to look slutty.
Why would I call you a pig or a hypocrite?!
I just think its silly when parents say 'I cant stop them' when of course they could.
And yes, they are pretty, popular, like boys, are good students, and say please and thank you.
If I dont teach them self respect, who will? And how will they get it from men?

Absolutely not... teenage boys are going to be looking no matter what a teenage girl does... no need to dress like a skank.
