Iran might be left to their own devices if they weren't exporting their revolutionary system. But they are, and since WTC911 we can't let it continue. Understand we don't want Iran, we have no territorial ambitions. We just want peace and quiet so we can get back to whatever it was we were doing before WTC911.

Iran became an Islamic state in 1979 when Iranian fundamentalists overthrew Shah Reza Palavi and installed religious leadership. They also took and held hostage 52 U.S. Embassy personnel in Tehran for more than a year.

Notice they don't mention CARTER was president ??? And that the hostages were released the DAY that Ronald Reagan took office for his first term ???

By the time the "second term" begins, Iran could have up to 6 nuclear warheads. Care to wait for the second term to start before dealing with this?
