I have one question...
who is that SAR swimmer, he must have balls like "Brass Chandaliers!!"
You never get between the load and the ship.

the ship was dead in the water, the only threat was the captains boat as I see it, we werent drifting that fast
To: RaceBannon
Utility boat in the air and Sar swimmer in the water...
loose the boat, loose the swimmer.
Never get between a load and a destination!

bump...
and reporting that on this morning I was pleased to hear a LOT of callers
to Leon Kaplan's car/motor show on KABC Radio (in Los Angeles, no less),
give a short, heart-felt preamble about observing Memorial Day...
before asking the usual questions about their car problems.
There is still hope for this place.

Memorial Day One day a year we stop to think of all the ones we've lost
We never stop to realize just what the wars have cost
We have parades, and wave some flags and think of wars gone by
We stand in graveyards with the rest and we may even cry
The bugle sounds as Taps is played then the honor guards salute
Another day has come and gone and the bugle now is mute
The little flags will wave again in just another year
We'll think back like we did before and shed another tear
How many more will bleed and die and then lie here so still
Not telling of the pain they had upon some distant hill
We must remember all year long not just a single day
We must remember through the year not just Memorial day
LCDR Bob Prinselaar Memorial Day 1997
Thank You redrock. God Bless your Dad. I will always remember the sacrifices that all our heroes have given. I think of them everyday. Will be visiting my Dad's grave tomorrow at Pinelawn National Cemetery. There will be flags on every grave, thanks to the boy scouts, other volunteers and the American Legion. It will be a heartfelt, teary visit. And I will then attend a Memorial Day Parade in my town, I will be sure to thank every Veteran I meet.
