If I recall correctly, satellite was $600 installation and $60-$70 per month or $100 per month for the first year. Speed was listed as about 600-700 kbps v. about 1200 for DSL and 2000 for cable.
I have satellite for TV and would never go back to cable, but I've had both DSL and cable for Internet and prefer the cable.

Is it possible to get satellite connection for a Laptop computer, and if so, who would I contact to get it? Do you know any of the specs on that?
