I didn't know that background in your #888. I played with her at Hershey in the pro-am a few years ago before she was a hot player. We never discussed that stuff. While she was great from tee to green, her putting had a long way to go. Still does.

There is something ironic here. The fact the she has done so well on the LPGA, does that mean playing on the mens tour is an up-grade? Sort of insulting to the LPGA, heh?

I think it had to happen sooner or later, but it will end up meaning nothing. No leading LPGA player is going to switch to the PGA to make a point...and lose money, wins, prestige and endorsements.

The fact is golf fans have an embarassment of riches these days. It is quite likely we are seeing the greatest man and woman ever to pic up a club, Woods and Sorenstam. There is much debate today regarding the effects of equipment technology on the game. Is Woods better than Bobby Jones? Is Sorenstam better than Zaharias? The fact is we'll never know.

However, one thing is certain. Woods and Sorenstam consistently beat their contemporaries more often and by larger margins than anyone ever has...using similar tools and playing the same courses.

Annika dissed the other women on the ladies tour big time. Complained that they don't offer her enough of a challenge. I thought the golfer played against the course not the other golfers. This is a great publicity stunt and the media loves every minute of it. Personally, I don't care!

I'm all worn out redialing for Clay!!!!
