To: an amused spectator
Of course, every first putt when on in regulation is a birdie putt, but and no offense, but when someone references a "birdie putt" to me it means a putt that the player has a good shot at making. For me that may mean something under a 6-8 foot range. For pros it may be out to 10-12 feet.
