Stewart Cink is -2 after 6 holes, and 20 players are at -1. There are 13 at even (including Annika), 13 at +1, 3 at +2, and 2 at +3.

USA showing shots of her arms bulging vs. a couple years ago. Steroids?

She's been on a very rigorous strength training program for about 2 years.

Why don't y'all leave her alone and let her play the game?

I agree with that.

What I'd really like to see, though, is an "BPGA." (Best Pro Golfer Assoc.)

LPGA would be under that, as would Division II PGA.

The hardest holes for Annika should be 12, 14, 15 on the back, and 3-4-5 (the Horrible Horseshoe) and 9 on the front.

If she plays those holes collectively at even par, or even a couple over, she could have a vey good round and make the cut.

10th (par 4, 404 yds): On the fairway twice, birdie putt is short, makes par.
11th (par 5, 609 yds): On the fairway all three shots, birdie putt is short, makes par.
12th (par 4, 443 yds): On the fairway, second shot on the rim grass of the green, birdie putt misses.. about 16 inches to go.

Sure, maybe - if she spends four hours a day in the gym - along with plyaing her tournaments.

Uhh, 609 yards....less than 10% of PGA players make that in 2.

I doubt you could reach it in 3.

This bravado thing is very stupid. The facts are men are bigger, and stronger. That is why men basketball is different then women, and so on. Yes it is possible to find a big Amazon woman to play against a small midget man, and beat him. Would that be a triumph for all women? The excitement of the media is very stupid. Even if this particular Amazon woman wins, that does not change the reality that women, in general; smaller and weaker.

She plays 3 or 4 days every other week or so, so why can't she hit the weights 4 hours a day on her training days?

It would seem fairly simple to me, that in order to be fair, the LPGA start allowing men to play. Only fair.

It would only be fair if men and women were equal as a whole in their abilities to play golf. They aren't. Annika is an extraordinary female golfer and deserves a chance to play with the best golfers (men or women) in the world. And that happens to be the PGA.
