Pittsburgh has long worried about how to keep and attract young people. The availability of good jobs (or lack thereof) is obviously central to such concerns, but lifestyle considerations also play an important part. What can the city do to make itself more attractive? Clearly, some wheels must turn to make it happen.

Pittsburgh's fine. They got their two new stadiums and convention center, after all. Good times are just around the corner. Maybe right after the bankruptcy.

i haven't been to either the new stadiums or the convention center, and i don't plan on it. 'Em jagoffs need to learn that no don't mean maybe later

Well, first you have to fund a new hotel for the convention center to be useful. (That would the new hotel that was supposed to be attracted by the new convention center in the first place).

Murphy could always do emminent domain on the Point Hilton, tear it down, and build a new one, because nobody would want to stay at that old eyesore!
Wonder if we could get the county to emminent domain the row offices on Grant Street, and replace it with something more relevant, like...a bicycle park, yeah, that's the ticket!
