I always like to quote Winston Churchill on his reaction to being criticized for ending a sentence with a preposition:

"This is foolishness, up with which I will not put!"

(PS--I taught English for 5 years. I grant papal dispensations for dangling prepositions.)

btw, as a child growing up I used to be 'fined' a quarter for making grammatical errors (as did my siblings and my parents, if we caught them), which were put in a giant bank on top of the refrigerator, and used for our vacations each summer. I do my VERY best to avoid them, even to this day!
