The projection is dismal. The current generation of under 30s barely cares, and the next won't remember or care at all about the freedom we knew.

Very true. Most of the pro-Constitution folks that I know are in their 40s or 50s.

The attitude of many of the ones under 30 can be summarized by the reply I got when I asked one to read the US Constitution.

The reply was: "F*** that s***"

They are more interested in the football game or who's doing who on "Friends" than anything related to real life.

If history just drifted along in straight lines, we'd be done.

But usually history moves in lurches, so who knows? Maybe there are still wild cards in the deck.
