Face it, like Yates, here is an over religious, overcontrolling (the 8 year old can't play in his own neighborhood?), psychotic woman left in charge of helpless children. and Daddy SLEPT through this? Sure. Lock 'em both up. Medicate her and slap some sense into him.

Well, you could be right, but I don't see all that much to support that point of view, either. It's early days yet, and there's much of the story still to emerge. I suppose we'll find out more in the next few days.

Well, you could be right, but I don't see all that much to support that point of view, either. It's early days yet, and there's much of the story still to emerge. I suppose we'll find out more in the next few days.
I did do a search on Google, and discovered that many Assembly of God ministers advise against the use of psychiatric drugs. It's possible that this church was on which discouraged such use. It's also possible that the use of such drugs might well have saved the lives of these children.
Again, time will tell.
