Bob Jones University has theological reasons for attacking the Catholic Church. As a Catholic I find that unfortunate, but I defend and respect their right to argue such theological points. It's much less troubling than the knee-jerk, dishonest anti-Catholicism of the secular elite, which is based on nothing but sheer prejudice, malice, and ignorance.

I have worked closely with Evangelicals in my profession, and have great respect for them. We can agree to disagree about some matters while mainly seeing eye to eye on matters of morals and politics--and also, to a larger extent than some might think, on matters of religion.
