You stay safe too. Please everyone in OK, check back in after these storms pass. Want to be certain everyone is okay.

A little tornado story for you...I had a friend whose mother was up late reading a Guideposts mag. She read about praying the blood of Jesus over your family, for protection. She walked down the hall doing that over each person, and about 2 minutes later a tornado struck their house (no warning, no sirens). I've seen pictures--2 walls left standing. Amazingly, not one of them was hurt (at all!) Prayer works.

What you just typed about praying the blood of Jesus.... I just walked away and prayed for you and 2Jedismom after your last post on the previous page. You are all being covered from this part of Texas.

Today hail was up to 3 1/4" southwest of us. We headed north out of its path and came home to minor damage. I think the tornado today went through about 1/8th of a mile from here.

Saw some damage on the way home and a large portion of the area is without power. Hit the roads where most trucks cannot tread and circled around the backside of the storm, keeping about 40 miles between us and the storm. Finally got the 4x4 dirty, but then hit an area of flooding to wash all the mud away.
