The power of a storm is intriguing. That is for sure.

Great job, Ethel.

Oh, man. My uncle lives in Midwest City, and that big mother a few years ago missed his house by about five blocks.
To: william clark
Do you know if your uncle is okay?
I still don't know if my children can go to school tomorrow.
Early in all this we heard reports of a demolished church in Moore that had a daycare, and all of the children were missing. I haven't heard anything else about this.

Sorry I took so long to respond....FR was kicking me off....and then because of that, I got booted off the computer altogether by someone who said it was "their turn" lol! : ) Thanks for the info.

the weather system (not these particular storms) will progress east towards Chicago, although they will probably not be this severe Friday and Saturday.
To: John H K
it will likely end up being a more or less normal level of activity. Don't know how you all can deal with tornados....I thought earthquakes weren't too bad, myself...except for the few seconds (which seemed like 20 minutes) when they hit. (So. Calif.)
To: CedarDave
Nothing even in the area of Lawrence. Weird stuff. But, the NWS storm reports says otherwise. Very confusing!

Thanks for the info.

Thank you. The article dates to 2000, before the switch was made, and indicates secrecy in advance of the switch.
And I gotta believe the Envoy and the Trailblazer are rolling off the same assembly line at some point in the process.

HI BG! I heard on the news just a few minutes ago...they're watching Chicago.....heavy storms likely to come up there.....they didn't know about tornados.
To: nicmarlo
Heavy storms we can handle.....NOT this other stuff.
Boy, I don't know how you can do this....
To: nicmarlo
My morbid fascination with tornadic phenomena stems from my very close brush with an F2+ in May 1985. I had never seen a green sky before, and thank God in heaven I have not seen one since.
