Why does tennis produce the most poorly behaved people, while golf, an even more maddening sport to play, produces the best behaved? Best behaved ?? Go to a pistol or rifle range .... no ones EVER been rude to me.
Heavily armed shooters are very polite to each other.

Ha! I should have said the Professional Golf Tour. Local courses always have folks losing their tempers, throwing clubs, etc.
I have spent time at ranges, yes, folks are polite there.
