Exactly what working relationship is he talking about? The Dems are voting in complete lockstep with each other, there is not one bit of Dem bi-partisanship going on. They have made their bed, now they can lie in it.

This is the same kind of talk, as when AFTER 9-11, some people thought we shouldn't go after the terrorists, because that would make them hate us.
Just as the terrorists only understand force, so do the Democrats. (Not that I want to imply that they are terrorists, but they certainly are using terrorist tactics)

Actually nothing would IMPROVE cooperation by the dems more. Once they realize the Republicans are serious, and will act, suddenly they will find it in their interest to try and move things along instead of being obstructionist.
