Both O'Reilly programs said, rather obscurely, that the private prom was just that, a private affair - not pubilcly funded, etc.

That is the whole point! This was a private act. Not school or state sponsored. People in this country have the right to be bigots! We may find it offensive, but it is their right.

Change it from race. What if it was a Jewish only private gathering? How about gays or non-gays only? What law does this offend? Mind you, I am not talking about a government-sponsored or school (smae thing) sponsored event. I am speaking only of private association.

You may recoil at the racist element of the Georgia thing, especially in the manner in which it has been publicized. But look out when you holler for the government to step in to organize the guest list at your private functions. That is one genie you want safely in the bottle.

To use an Factor term, I think O'Reilly's gonna be "hiding under his desk" before this is over.

What a dunderhead to be demanding that legal, private behavior must adhear to his rules.

Why did I ever take this guy seriously?

And O'Reilly has the right to shame those who are bigots and those like Perdue that are super cowards and dont want to take a position that might be unpopular with the folks who brung him.
