President Bush headed to Little Rock, Arkansas and spoke to a crowd regarding the economy and once again called on Congress to pass his tax cut plan. Bush also participated in a roundtable of small business owners and their employees. In the morning, the President called President Sezer of Turkey to extend his condolences to the President for the men, women and children who were injured and killed in the recent earthquake. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Lookin' FINE in that flight suit!
I have to say that I just about GAGGED when some liberal talking head said, "Did you notice how quickly he took of the helmet? Didn't want to look like Dukakis did in that tank picture".
AS IF!!!!!

I wish the President would be as real and hilarious when he is speaking to the nation as he is in front of a crowd.I don't know, I think his speeches to the nation have been pretty awesome since 9-11. Not hilarious, but real and touching.

Yeh, Wphile...x42 is "pathetic" and quickly de-constructing before our eyes...someone like that is sick...and, well, things happen to people like that, it seems....not so good things. It's so GREAT to have President Bush....just sooooo great.

I wonder if he took the flight-suit to Texas and had a special modeling session with the First Lady????These two have a pretty special relationship. I am sure they spent some quality time together in Texas. ;-)

I love the fact that he almost always inserts a scripture from Isaiah...makes me want to cheer. I do think he has given very sincere speeches...but I think it would endear him much more with those who are on the fence, if he would be more real, and less stiff. He's amazing when he ad libs.
To: Kath
"Why can't he just ride off into the sunset like all other ex-presidents. Well at least Republican ex-presidents."
I have to say that I am SO SAD that Reagan isn't able to comment about the news of the day. I'll bet that he'd be mighty proud of his VP's kid right about now.
God bless him...

My very liberal mother-in-law loves watching Dubya when he makes his "give 'em hell" speeches. I agree though, I love it when we get to see glimpses of the real W.

Did you guys watch O'Reilly tonight when they were talking about there being maybe four US presidents who have ever really connected with the American people and how Dubya is among those few?Just curious, but did O'Reilly say who the other three were?
