Well, I understand your sentiments, but I happened to read it today in the funnies and it made my blood boil. When my plasma begins to heat up, I often share the source with Freepers, because as you say, we must know our enemies.

"Ever stop to consider the feelings of patriotic Franco-Americans?"
We HAVE considered the tastes and feelings of "Franco-Americans." They can eat all of the 'Spaghetti-O's' they wish.
Go away Mssr. Trudeau, and take with you your puppet alter-egos of the communist sodomite and the drug addict.
To: Pharmboy
I can't remember the last time I said the phrase "French Fry". I can't remember the last time I heard anyone say it. For years, it's been simply "fries".

Interesting background. Not that Trudeau would need ANOTHER reason to hate Dubya, but I'm sure he'll take it...

And I don't believe for a minute that Gary T. identifies with his "french" side any more than he does with his early Dutch side (I think it was Bleecker--as in Bleecker Street--who left provisions in his will for the education of his descendants--not that Gary T. made very good use of it).
He's just using his comic strip soapbox to attack a man whose shoe Gary isn't fit to tie.
Mr. Pauley, just stick to drawing your pathetic little inane cartoon stick figures. Idiot. Everyone is more than bored with your politics. As if most Americans care what you think.
Or better yet, why don't you put down your pencil? You're so September 10th.
To: Pharmboy
We didn't fight to make France free, they were just in the way of our getting to the Germans.
Mr.T ought to go publish his political screeds in France.

To: Pharmboy
Wow, that Trudeau is a real windbag. Does he think that people are anxiously awaiting his thoughts and words? Maybe he and Joan Lunden should just pick up and move to France.
To: texasbluebell
You're so September 10thI like it. Did you make that phrase up or has this been around and I somehow missed it?
To: x1stcav
That is the only reason I read his strip. I need to remind myself of how the other side thinks. I believe Michael Savage is correct, liberals suffer from a mental disease and Gary Trudeau trully has a serious case.
To: Pharmboy
I laughed when I read, "check the signature at the bottom..." Can any example disprove his point more?

you hit the nail on the head...Jane Pauley is Trudeau's wife. Ever see her asked what in hell her hubbie is doing ?
To: Lancey Howard
Gary is married to Jane Pauley not Joan Lunden.
To: SteamShovel
I wish I had made it up!
No, it seemed to first see the light of day in an article about Oprah. She was described as so September 10th.
And it fits for a lot of other people as well.
To: Pharmboy
The best part of this is, he doesn't even realize how condescending he comes across, and he doesn't grasp how this is likely to make people
less open to his views.
The left is funny when out of power. Rush is right.

To: Pharmboy
Trudeau's toon is so lame, and he's one of the leftists as his toon forever shows. During clintoonian years, remember reading that he was a favored guest at quite a number of RAT fundraisers. Mallard Fillmore is the toon for me.

Wasn't "ZUTS ALORS" a Frank Zappa album?

Naw, we're not conquer monkeys. We're authentic 800 pound gorillas.
To: Pharmboy
Garry Trudeah is full of merde.
