My first "W is hot" moment was about 6 months ago, when some magazine... and I don't even know which one... took some pictures of him on his ranch, all dirty, in jeans, carrying some rope or something over his shoulder... and I was mortified. I was quite the little leftie in my 20s (young and dumb) and I only gradually became aware in my 30s that I was turning into (gasp) a Republican! (Or a Libertarian, I have sympathies in both camps). Anyway, years of knee-jerk anti-Republicanism has still left areas of my psyche in need of weeding.

So when I realized what I was thinking when I saw those lean & dirty photos I swear I slunk out of Barnes & Noble in shame. LOL!! Even the whole flight suit thing, while I was gazing on in rapt glee, admiring my president, well, I kept my eyes on his upper body, shall we say. And some of the remarks about that flight suit have made me just cringe. I'm not ready to hear that stuff. What a squeamish goof I am sometimes.

I remember the contempt Freepers used to have for the clintonites with similar attitudes.

Well, we despised their tastes! And rightly so!

Oooooooh! The photo with the logs .... mmmmmmmmm.

OMG, that's it! That's the picture! (I came late to the thread and am scrolling backwards looking at pics.)

It may not be wrong to notice, but a lady of character should not be spoken of in such a manner. One of the endearing qualities of the First Couple is their devotion, respect, and love for one another.

Indeed. Myprecious is correct. NC, show some class and correct your mistake by asking the admin to remove your own post.

I think she looks like a beauty queen.

I think she is; Lauren Green was Miss Minnesota, if I'm not mistaken.

Yesterday when GW got off the plane, all I could think was "He's so good-looking. What a cutie!" (Then I'd bounce back to "That's your president, woman. Knock it off.")

I remember the contempt Freepers used to have for the clintonites with similar attitudes.

I don't remember ever doing that, although it's entirely possible that I questioned their taste or eyesight.

The Dereliction of Duty book is coming out at a perfect time. We should never forget that the current dem spawn candidates are tied to McAwful and x-42. In addition, Edwards doesn't even look so pretty boy to me. He's got some things growing on his face that he should have checked out. Maybe Sen. Frist would examine him.

I also noticed that Howard Dean likes to hold his upper and lower teeth together to make a perfect smile. I'd never seen him before. It's mid-day on c-span and I'm yawning twenty minutes in. Compare the ten to the Commander in Chief in his flight suit. Ten of them don't equal one Dubya.

Hotter than a rock star. I just LOVE manly men.

Ditto !!! Glad I happened upon this thread. I have talked to so many people that have had the same reaction.

That landing on the Lincoln and the very real image of a REAL man in control, yet still humble is tough to beat. I wonder if the Dems have stopped gritting their teeth yet. LOL !!!

I live in the San Diego area and one of my friends from church saw Air Force One flying over her home earlier that day with its escorts, etc. She is a lady in her 70s and she was still excited some 8 hours after.

I dare say that George Bush has absolutely restored dignity and honor to the Office of the President after it looked as if it had been destroyed forever.

Praise God and thank you, George Bush.

Re Fox and Friends.....I,too,think they do a great job! I watch faithfully because I can relate to their conversations. They are down to earth and ask, sometimes rhetorical, questions and express feelings similar to those I have. They also seem to genuinely get along with each other. Re the weekend crew...Juliet is ok but the rest are difficult to take. I thought that guy Bob was bad until they replaced him with Mike Jerrick..now I want Bob back! The worst is when they all talk over each other! They should find another time slot for Mike Jerrick, perhaps around 3am!

I wondered why they were holding him. Thanks for the info. I agree, better safe than sorry!
Female here, but, rather than swooning, I feel such pride that this man is our President. He was really awesome on that ship. The Dems just can't stand his honesty and sincerity.

I thought W looked like a stud. Does that sound "gay"? lol

I wish I looked that fit now. But I have found wishing doesn't help without some action.

Jennifer Griffen, Amy Kellog and Steve Harrigan are outstanding reporters! Not to mention that they must be very courageous.

No, I made a mistake. They're beating CBS morning news. I had that confused with The Today Show. I don't watch either of them, so they're all the same to me.

Sorry.

"Female here, but, rather than swooning, I feel such pride that this man is our President."

Female here too, and like you, I am so glad that George W. is our Commander-in-Chief. I was a little leary of him during the 2000 campaign. He wore alot of his father's baggage back then, but as the campaign season went on, I knew that he was the right man for the job. God bless President Bush, and our country.
