I don't get the strategy here. "Getting a hispanic" who doesn't reflect sound judicial sense, is worse than none at all. My wife and I were profoundly moved by Estrada's life story--quintisentially American. Fighting for him, a Hispanic, instead of yielding to another less qualified candidate, would be dishonest and would also yield NO benefits in the Latino community in 2004. We need to FIGHT for Estrada...THAT and only that will be respected.

Right, the emphasis is on CONSERVATIVE, not Hispanic. Conservatives are blind to color & can see right through a liberal in sheep's clothing, hispanic or otherwise.

First of all, Prado, who is the one who is about to be confirmed, has been nominated for a different court than Estrada. Estrada has not been pulled. Second, Prado is just as conservative and qualified as Estrada. It is sad when people post things like Frist is caving when he is actually winning.
