WHY AL FRANKEN ISNT THE LIBERAL TALK RADIO SAVIOR
You might remember Al Franken. Hes the far-left comedian that Democrats thought might be their talk radio savior. It seems that Mr. Frankin was at the White House Correspondents Dinner this past Saturday night. Others in attendance heard Franken shout to Assistant Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz - "Clinton's military did pretty well in Iraq, huh?" Wolfowitz was heard to reply with a suggestion that Franken commit a physical improbability.
Here, my friends, is an example of why Al Franken isnt going to make it as the great liberal savior on talk radio. As soon as Franken goes on the air with this stupid Clintons military line someone is going to call with a challenge.
Caller: Hey, Al. So you say that this was Clintons military that Bush used to clobber Saddam Hussein?
Franken: Sure it was! Those men were recruited for the military when Clinton was in office. Those weapons systems were developed under Clinton! Its Clintons military!
Caller: Fine. OK, Ill accept that. Now, tell me why you keep calling the current economy Bushs economy. Isnt it true that the dot-com bust happened under Clinton? Isnt it true that the technology bust happened under Clinton? Isnt it true that the Enron accounting irregularities began while Clinton was president? Isnt it true that our economic growth started to slow down while Clinton was in office? If its Clintons military, why isnt it Clintons economy?
Franken: Uh
thanks for calling! Time for a break. Well be right back.
Uh oh
a blow to our liberal heros credibility! And that, my friends, is why liberals just cant handle talk radio!
By the way, it isnt Clintons military. George Bush is the commander in chief. Pentagon Don is the Defense Secretary. These men and women went into battle following a man who had not expressed his loathing of the military. Clintons military had no respect for their commander-in-chief. Bushs military loves their commander-in-chief. Military culture and morale starts at the top. A fish rots from the head first.

Carter did kill the B-1 ... the B-1A. Reagan was able to revive the program and the result was the B-1B - an overall better plane than the original.

Time for Al Franken and Michael Moore to team up in a new-age remake of "The Odd Couple."

You'd think so! I never got why he was "famous" either - wasn't he on SNL or somesuch? Anyway, he looks kinda strange and isn't funny, so I dunno. Maybe he sucked his way into employment or something...

Remember when Hillary tried to make a white house rule that no military officer could wear his uniform in the white house? They loathed the military and didn't want to be reminded that they had any semblance of power.
Here's a funny story from Robert Patterson's new book, 'Dereliction of Duty': One of the joint chiefs was waiting to see Clinton and happened to be in a conversation with an aide about college. The aide was flabbergasted that he had even been to college "I didn't know that military officers went to college!" so she attempted to one-up the chief by referring to her upcoming graduate studies. The chief responded with some advice from his experience in graduate school, to which they aide responded with a dumbfounded stare (Military in grad school? I thought they were all dumb gorillas!) must have went through her head. Another aide just flat out said "I don't talk to military." and pushed passed him.

That was the Clinton white-house

The title of the book about him says it all:
"Al Franken is a buck toothed moron."
As a buck toothed moron myself, I really resent
having Franken assigned to my bailiwick.

That's why Bush's second term will be even more important to the security of our nation.

Yes, it were we go form here is what really counts.
Do we go after Syria and settle a long outstanding
debt in blood or do we listen to the State Department
and talk them to death.
Do we continue own and fully get the military
in shape or pretend after Iraq nothing more
needs to be done and we continue the clean
war doctrine and feminization of the military?
Do we wake up to reality and start protecting our
borders?
Do we stop sending technology to China
I would not be surprised if by the end
of the decade we fight a war with China.
